Ingredients
- 12 oz Chicken Breast, sliced into strips
- 2 Bell Pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 lime
- 6 flour tortillas, warmed
- Sour cream, salsa, avocado
Method
- Toss the Chicken Breast strips with the spices, salt, and half the oil. Get a cast-iron pan properly hot — the kind of hot that makes you respect it.
- Sear the Chicken Breast in a single layer until charred, 2–3 minutes per side. Remove.
- Add remaining oil, then the Bell Pepper and onion; cook hard until blistered and just tender, 4 minutes. Return the Chicken Breast and squeeze the lime over the sizzling pan.
- Bring the skillet to the table on a trivet — the sizzle is 30% of the flavor — and build tacos with warm tortillas and toppings.
