Ingredients
- 1½ lb cooked Chicken Thighs, shredded
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 cup cream, whipped soft
- ⅓ cup chili sauce or ketchup + 1 tsp paprika
- 4 oz bacon, crisped
- ½ cup roasted peanuts
- Rice, to serve
Method
- Yes, this is real: invented by an air-freight worker named Jacob, published in 1976, beloved ever since. Sweden asks for your trust.
- Lay the shredded Chicken Thighs in a baking dish with the banana slices over it.
- Fold the chili sauce and paprika into the softly whipped cream and blanket everything with it.
- Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbling and golden-spotted.
- Scatter the bacon and peanuts over, serve with rice, and watch skeptics go quiet mid-bite. Sweet-savory-smoky-creamy — the flight plan makes no sense and lands perfectly.
