Ingredients
- 12 oz sushi-grade Tuna, cubed (or seared tofu)
- 1½ cups short-grain rice, cooked
- 1 Cucumber, sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Sesame seeds, scallion, and nori
Method
- Whisk soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, and ginger. Gently fold in the cubed Tuna and let it marinate 10 minutes (sear tofu first if using).
- Spread the warm rice in bowls and let it cool slightly — hot rice steams the fish.
- Arrange the Tuna, Cucumber, and avocado in sections over the rice.
- Finish with sesame seeds, scallion, torn nori, and the rest of the dressing.
